Go into Battle

Military drummers have played a crucial role in warfare throughout history. Soldiers marched to battle to the sound of the drums and used the beat to regulate the loading and re-loading of their weapons during the battle. Drummers were also used to raise morale during the fight. Political drums are rolling. There is a war taking place in our backyards.
We shall go on to the end, our guns are loaded with brilliant ideas. We shall reload our guns with grassroots unity, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air. We shall defend our Constituency from the enemy called corruption and the other one called poverty and underdevelopment. There shall be no retreat, we shall fight matching forward and gain victory on good hospitals, good roads, fair bursary, clean environment, women empowerment, youth opportunities, decent housing, and fair pay for all workers.
Never shall we surrender to bad leaders, corruption, embezzlement, nepotism, blackmail, and political-induced divisions. Our soldiers are fed up. Our idea of freedom shall be put into action. We shall not tire, we shall not bleed to death, we shall fight with passion.
Victory is ours for the taking. The battlefield shall be tough. Our enemies are being funded but we have God on our side. Spiritually we are connected to the greatest general of all time, the owner of the universe, commander of commanders. We are not shaken. We are ready for taking over. Our land is about to heal. Services will go and meet the needs of our people. There will be lasting change through our actions. Kajiado North will be known beyond our boundaries. Trade and profit will be our middle name. Employers will have a residence in our constituency. Money will find its way to every home and every village in our constituency.
You are not too young to join our army. You are not too old to fight for us. Brothers and sisters, we need you on the battlefield. We are one and we are bonded by our ideas. I shall lead you on the battlefield. For this is war.
In the words of General George S. Patton, U.S. Army:- “All of the real heroes are not storybook combat fighters either. Every single man in this Army plays a vital role. Don’t ever let up. Don’t ever think that your job is unimportant. Every man has a job to do and he must do it. Every man is a vital link in the great chain.”
